My deep love for theatre inevitably led me to love its photographic version as well.
I feel so strongly what the performers experience, both in rehearsals and on stage, that during the shoot we breathe in unison.<\/p>\n

I am one of them, but I am transparent. Invisible, that is how I want to be when I photograph in a theatre (and perhaps not only in the theatre).<\/p>\n

Conversation Pieces is the first of three shows that make up<\/span><\/div>\n
the trilogy Il pianto delle Muse (The Cry of the Muses). An apocalyptic trilogy for a world-opera<\/span><\/div>\n
by author and director Marco Filiberti.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/span><\/div>\n
This is a long-standing collaboration that went far beyond a simple<\/span><\/div>\n
photography commission thanks to a shared vision<\/span><\/div>\n
and the strength of the human relationship.
<\/span><\/div>\n
The trilogy was published in a prestigious box set<\/span><\/div>\n
by the Titivillus publishing house, edited by Pierfrancesco Giannangeli<\/span><\/div>\n
in which ample space was given to the iconographic part.
<\/span><\/div>\n

\n
These photographs were taken during the final rehearsals and performances.<\/span><\/div>\n
The photographer therefore adapted to the actual stage conditions.<\/span><\/div>\n
The lighting is the same as in the show.<\/span><\/div>\n
The photographer always remained outside the stage area<\/span><\/div>\n
(as if she were a spectator).<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
