Unpredictability, coincidences, freedom. These, I believe, are the characteristics of “on the road” photography.

But also testimony and memory. I am referring, of course, mainly to photographs taken with a camera, i.e. photographs for which one felt the need to stop, pay attention and take a picture.

Generally, these are moments that really moved something inside us. That's why finding them and looking at them again after some time has passed brings us back not only to that feeling but to the whole journey that led us there.
